Automatically verify the authenticity of images your customers post on your site. This app provides a way for markeplace owners to fight fraud and increase customer satisfaction. Integration is easy: you only need two API calls, one for generating a verification code and another for verifying an uploaded image.

Generate code

Generate a QR code with the given data followed by a cryptographic signature.

Inputs

  • data – A string of alphanumeric characters. The data can only contain digits, capital letters (A-Z), spaces and the following special characters: $%*+-./: Everything else will be replaced with spaces. The maximum length of the data is 90 characters. Longer character strings will be truncated.

Outputs

  • image – Output image which contains a QR code. The data in the QR code is the input data followed by a cryptographic signature.

Verify code

Finds the most prominent QR code in the image, reads its contents and verifies that it has a valid signature produced by the generateCode API function. If everything is OK, returns the data in the code and sets the pass flag to true.

Inputs

  • image – Input image.

Outputs

  • data

    – Data string in the QR code. Empty if there is no QR code in the image or the QR code is not generated with the generateCode API function.

  • pass

    – A Boolean flag. The flag is true if there is a QR code in the image and the QR code is generated with the generateCode API function.
